African Lovebird Breeding in India
African lovebirds can be breed in Indian Climate Easily, They are Native of African and the Indian Climate is Suitable for them to breed in captivity means in breeding cages and aviary.
- A Pair of African Love bird - Check and Confirm Male and Female
- Cage: 2 Feet Long x 1.5 Feet Wide Cage
- Cuttle Bone, Foam of the sea
- Mixed Grain Food or Special African Lovebird Food Seed Mix
- Bowl of Fresh Water Daily 24 x 7
- Light Required
- Fresh Leafy Vegetables and Fruits
- Fresh Corn or Soak the Corn seed at least 12 to 15 hours.
- Give the Mix Sprouted Beans and Seeds Mix Which includes Wheat seed, Moong, Moth (Vigna aconitifolia), Chik peas, Sorghum (Jowar, Cholam (tamil)), sesame seeds. soak the seeds in whole night in a water and give it in the morning or soak it atleast 10 hours, so it will be little bit softer and easy to eat for birds.
African Love bird Gender Determination :
It can be difficult to say in african lovebirds male or female by his look, but some experienced breeder can guessing it by touch body. female can tear the paper and and stuffing it into his feathers, male can not do. male feeding the female is also sign of male bird, but it is not a sure. DNA testing is the perfect method to determine which is male or female.
